S.L. 437.23 Art. 1Citation and scope.

(1) The title of these regulations is the Specimen Pedigree

Certificates for the Ova of Breeding Animals of the Bovine Species and the Relative Particulars Regulations.

(2) The scope of these regulations is the implementation of European Commission Decision 96/80/EC laying down the specimen pedigree certificates for the ova of breeding animals of the bovine species and the particulars to be entered on those certificates. This Decision finds its legal basis under European Union Council Directive 77/504/EEC, article 5 and 6(1) fifth indent.
