S.L. 437.33 Art. 1Citation and scope.

(1) The title of these regulations is the Criteria for the

Acceptance for Breeding Purposes of Pure-Bred Breeding Sheep and Goats and the Use of their Semen, Ova and Embryos Regulations.

(2) The scope of these regulations is to implement the provisions found under European Union Commission Decision 90/ 257/EEC laying down the criteria for the acceptance for breeding purposes of pure-bred breeding sheep and goats and the use of their semen, ova and embryos. This Decision finds its legal basis under European Union Council Directive 89/361/EEC, article 4.
