S.L. 437.43 Art. 9State of good physical and mental health.

(1) Whereas in accordance with article 43(3)(e) of the Act, the Council requires a person applying for a warrant to be in a state of good physical and mental health, the Council shall accept as sufficient evidence thereof the presentation of the document required in the Member State of origin or the Member State from which the applicant comes.

(2) Where the Member State of origin or the Member State from which the applicant comes does not impose any requirements of this nature on those wishing to take up or pursue the activities of veterinary surgeons, the Council shall accept from such applicant a certificate issued by a competent medical authority in that State corresponding to the certificates issued in Malta.
