S.L. 454.15 Art. 3Applicability to sub-assemblies.

(1) Where instrument-specific schedules lay down the essential requirements for sub-assemblies, these regulations shall apply to such sub-assemblies. mutatis mutandis

(2) Sub-assemblies and measuring instruments may be assessed independently and separately for the purpose of establishing conformity.
