S.L. 455.3 Art. 2Interpretation.

(1) In these regulations unless the context otherwise requires:

"the Act" means the Sports Act;

"applicant" means a sport association or national sport association, a federation or national federation, a club, sport school or person who applies with SportMalta for registration in the Register;

"application form" means the application form set out in the First Schedule hereof;

"statute" means the statute or act of constitution of an applicant or registered person.

(2) Subject to the provisions of sub-regulation (1), terms and expressions used in these regulations shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the meaning assigned to them in the Act.
