S.L. 465.9 Art. 8Withdrawal of temporary closure.

The Superintendent shall withdraw the temporarily closure of a particular bathing area or part thereof when:

(a) at least three consecutive sample results collected daily indicate that Intestinal enterococci counts are less than 500 cfu/100 ml, and, or the Escherichia coli counts are less than 1000 cfu/100 ml;

(b) when the Superintendent determines that the water quality is within the acceptable level:

Provided that the Superintendent shall inform the public of any such withdrawal.
