S.L. 499.1 Art. 18Ropes.

(1) No master may make any rope fast except to dolphins, buoys, mooring posts, and bollards placed for the purpose, and shall not use any wire rope unless the edge of the coping of the quay is protected from chafe to the satisfaction of the Authority.

(2) No person may use any chain cable for mooring alongside except with the permission of the Authority.
