S.L. 499.12 Art. 18Restricted access for ships carrying dangerous cargoes.

(1) No tanker shall enter Grand Harbour or Marsamxett

Harbour, except as expressly provided in the case of Grand Harbour under regulations 22, 25, 26, 27, 30 and 91.

(2) Any person who fails to comply with the provisions of subregulation (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine (multa) not exceeding nine thousand and three hundred and seventeen euro and forty-nine cents (9,317.49) for each offence.
