S.L. 499.23 Art. 40Authority’s prerogativetohave emergency use of equipment and resources.

The Authority reserves the right to be given as required for the purposes of combating any emergency or pollution incident, immediate access to, use and control of any or all such safety and pollution equipment or resources as are required under these regulations to be provided on any vessel. Such equipment shall be provided free of charge, but used at the risk of the Authority and reasonable costs incurred by the provider in respect of any consumables used, or equipment damaged, will subsequently be reimbursed.
