S.L. 499.26 Art. 14Failure to perform regular pilotage services.

(1) A licensed pilot who fails to perform regular pilotage services for a period of twelve months shall have his licence revoked by the Authority unless this failure is due to medical reasons or other circumstances acceptable to the Authority.

(2) Such pilot shall have a right of appeal in terms of regulation 8(5).

(3) The Authority may, in agreement with the service provider, exempt the Chief Pilot from providing regular pilotage services if his services are required elsewhere in connection with pilotage technical matters.
