S.L. 499.56 Art. 28ACondition for the transfer of a passengertransport vehicle.

A new motor vehicle that has been registered in another country as a new motor vehicle prior to its registration in Malta, shall be considered as a passenger transport vehicle which is not new in accordance with regulation 28, if the operator or a person authorised by the operator that is the holder of said registration, transfer the ownership of the vehicle to third persons prior to the lapse of three (3) years from the date of the registration of the vehicle in Malta.
