(1) Animals, apart from guide dogs, shall not board or be allowed on motor route buses unless they are placed in suitable containers or carriers and held on the accompanying passenger’s lap.

(2) No animal which poses a threat to health or safety to passengers shall be allowed to board or be carried in motor route buses.
