S.L. 575.1 Art. 15Cessation of liability to pay interest.

(1) Holders shall not be entitled to claim interest on any Retail Savings Bonds issued under these regulations in respect of any period which has elapsed after the earliest date on which the demand could lawfully have been made for the payment of the principal amount due.

(2) Where an amount has become payable on the Retail Savings Bonds as interest due, no interest on that amount shall, after that date, be paid or payable by the Government to any holder in any circumstances.
