Cap. 12 Art. 125Procedure in superior courts and inferior courts.

(1) In the superior courts and in the Court of Magistrates

(Gozo) in its superior jurisdiction, proceedings are ordinarily instituted by application, whether sworn or not, as provided by law.

(2) In the Court of Magistrates (Malta), and in the Court of

Magistrates (Gozo) in its inferior jurisdiction, proceedings are instituted by application.
