Cap. 12 Art. 575Penalty for non- attendance of witness duly summoned.
Sub-title I
If any witness duly summoned fails to appear when called on, he shall be guilty of contempt of court and shall forthwith be punished accordingly; and it shall also be lawful for the court, by means of a warrant of escort or arrest, to compel such witness to attend for the purpose of giving evidence.
