Cap. 12 Art. 636Copies. Authenticity thereof. Probatory force.

(1) Authentic copies of the documents mentioned in articles 627, 628 and in article 629(a), (b), (c) and (e) are admissible as evidence.

(2) Copies shall be deemed to be authentic, when they are made in the form prescribed by law by the officer by whom the original was received or is preserved, or by the person lawfully authorized for the purpose.

(3) Authentic copies shall be evidence to the same extent as the originals.
