Cap. 13 Art. 249Ineffectual inquiries to be noted.
Sub-title I
Where the notary has not been able to find the party bound to accept or to pay, or to ascertain whether such party has any place of business, or to discover his place of residence, he shall expressly state in the protest that his inquiries have been unsuccessful.
