Without prejudice to the provisions of the Ġieħ ir-Repubblika

Act, an offence against discipline dealt with by the disciplinary board shall no longer appear in personal records of the officer, after the lapse of sixteen months in case of a serious offence and the lapse of ten months in the case of a minor offence, if the officer has not been found guilty of another offence during that period.
