Cap. 204 Art. 31Other credit and financial institutions as agents.

(1) The Bank may appoint one or more credit or financial institutions in Malta to act as its agent for the issue, re-issue, exchange and withdrawal of currency notes and coins, or for other purposes, on such terms and conditions as may be agreed between the Bank and each of such credit or financial institutions.

(2) The Bank may also appoint one or more agents to provide services related to the storage, authentication, processing, counting and packaging of currency notes and coins.
