Cap. 343 Art. 47Improper influence.

(1) No person shall improperly influence or attempt to influence directly or indirectly on behalf of himself or on behalf of any other person, the Authority, the Corporation or their members or directors, or persons employed by them, in the exercise of their functions under this Act.

(2) Any person who contravenes any of the foregoing provisions of this article shall be guilty of an offence against this Act. information which is false in a material particular; or

(b) with intent to deceive produces, furnishes, sends or otherwise makes use of any document which is false in a material particular; or

(c) wilfully refuses or without lawful excuse (the proof whereof shall lie on him) withholds any material information, shall be guilty of an offence against this Act and shall on conviction be liable, to a fine (multa) of not less than one hundred and sixteen euro and forty-seven cents (116.47) but not exceeding one thousand and one hundred and sixty-four euro and sixty-nine cents (1,164.69), or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding one year, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
