Cap. 363 Art. 53Appointment and qualification of Council employees.

(1) (a) Subject to the provisions of article 110(6) of the

Constitution, the Local Council may appoint such other employees as the Council thinks necessary for the efficient discharge of functions of the Council and this following the approval of the Department.

(b) The Council shall not purchase any clerical services.
