Cap. 37 Art. 22AGoods showing signs of deterioration.

(1) Where any goods are brought into or deposited in a government warehouse and subsequently show signs of deterioration, or may in the opinion of the Commissioner cause damage to other goods or to the building, the Commissioner may order that the same be withdrawn therefrom against payment of duty and all charges due, within such period as may be fixed by him, and if such goods are not withdrawn within that period then the goods shall be destroyed at the expense of their proprietor.

(2) The provisions of sub-article (1) shall apply also to goods which are regularly warehoused notwithstanding any unexpired period of such warehousing.
