Cap. 417 Art. 23ASubmission of search report and written opinion.

(1) The Comptroller shall have the power to request the applicant for a patent to submit a search report accompanied by a reasoned opinion issued by an international search authority recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organisation, as may be determined by the Comptroller.

(2) All costs relating to the acquisition of the search report and reasoned opinion shall be borne by the applicant.
