Cap. 496 Art. 34Information concerning existenceofcertain documents.

Where -

(a) a request under this Act relates to a document to which the provisions of this Part apply, or would apply if such a document existed; and

(b) the existence or non-existence of the document would in its own right, if it were stated in a document, be subject to non-disclosure in terms of any of the said provisions, the public authority dealing with the request may give notice in writing to the applicant that it neither confirms nor denies the existence or non-existence of that document.
