Where the issuer of an asset-referenced token, being a credit institution licensed under the Banking Act or a legal person or other undertaking authorised under Article 21 of the MiCA Regulation and article 11, decides to discontinue the provision of its services and activities, including by discontinuing the issue of such asset-referenced token, it shall submit a plan to the competent authority for approval of such discontinuation.
