Cap. 9 Art. 337ECommission of an offence outside Malta.

(1) If any act is committed outside Malta which, had it been committed in Malta, would have constituted an offence against the provisions of this Sub-title, it shall, if the commission affects any computer, software, data or supporting documentation which is situated in Malta or is in any way linked or connected to a computer in Malta, be deemed to have been committed in Malta.

(2) Notwithstanding sub-article (1), if the offence is committed partially outside Malta and which had it been committed in Malta constituted an offence contrary to the provisions of this Sub-title, said offence shall be deemed to have been committed in Malta.
