In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires -

"Act" means the Local Manufactures (Promotion) Act;

"exemption" means an exemption granted by the Minister to any person in terms of section 9 of the Act, from the payment in whole or in part, of the levy due on any goods imported by him; "Minister" means the Minister responsible for industry.
