S.L. 36.34 Art. 2Interpretation.

In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires -"Director" means the Director of Agriculture and Fisheries and includes any officer of the department duly authorised by the Director to act on his behalf;

"to fatten" means to keep fish from the fingerling stage to market size;

"to rear" means to breed and rear up to the fingerling stage and includes the selling of broodstock;

"to keep" includes to rear and to fatten; "fish" includes fin fish, molluscs and crustaceans, whether of fresh or of sea-water.
