S.L. 409.13 Art. 15Duties of dive leader.

(1) The director of diving may be required to make use of dive leaders to help and control clients and improve safety but may not use dive leaders to assess or to teach any skills or knowledge to clients.

(2) The functions and responsibilities of a dive leader shall be:

(a) to guide or organise a group of independent divers; and

(b) to offer and provide safety back-up and generally assist the diving instructor during a training session.
