Landraces and varieties of agricultural plant species of the species listed in Schedule I to the Seeds of Agricultural Plants and

Vegetables Regulations may be accepted in the national catalogue of varieties of agricultural plant species provided that the requirements laid down in regulations 5 and 6 are met. Such landraces or varieties shall be referred to in the Common Catalogue of varieties of agricultural plant species as "conservation varieties".
