S.L. 458.28 Art. 2Opening of pharmacies on weekdays. Cap. 363. Cap. 363.

(1) Any pharmacy in Malta and Gozo shall be open from at least 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon and from 4.00 p.m. till 7.00 p.m.

from Monday to Saturday and may remain open for any period beyond these hours.

(2) On Saturday afternoon the managing pharmacist may not open his pharmacy as long as there is another pharmacy which is open in that locality as defined in the Second Schedule to the Local

Government Act and according to a roster issued by the Licensing Authority: Provided that in those localities where there is only one pharmacy, such pharmacy will be included in the roster of pharmacies for the neighbouring locality as the Licensing Authority may determine.

(3) It shall be the duty of the managing pharmacist who does not open his pharmacy on a Saturday afternoon to have clearly displayed on the door of his pharmacy the name and address of the pharmacy which is open in that locality, as defined in the Second Schedule to the Local Government Act, and according to the roster issued by the Licensing Authority:
