S.L. 464.17 Art. 13Communication to patients.

(1) Communications to patients -

(a) shall be sent in sealed envelopes; and

(b) shall not draw attention to the professional skill of any practitioner.

(2) Recall cards should be sent only with the prior written agreement of the patients to whom they are addressed.

(3) Communication with patients should be clear and effective and in such a manner that the patient understands fully and clearly what is being said.
