These regulations shall apply to the processing of personal data in connection with the provision of publicly available electronic communications services in public communications networks in Malta and any other country, including public communications networks supporting data collection and identification devices, as the Minister may after consultation with the Minister responsible for communications, designate by notice in the Gazette.
