Cap. 16 Art. 1090Obligation in in favour solidum of several creditors.

An obligation is joint and several in favour of two or more creditors when it expressly vests each of such creditors with the right of demanding the payment of the whole sum due, and the payment made to any one of them discharges the debtor, even though the benefit accruing from the obligation may be divided between the several creditors.
