Cap. 16 Art. 1595Rightofpreference is merely personal.
Sub-title I
(1) In the cases mentioned in the last preceding article, the right of preference can be exercised in the manner and within the times hereinafter stated, even after the new lease has been agreed upon with others.
(2) Such right, however, is merely personal, and it may not be transferred to other persons, nor shall it transmit to the heirs or other successors of the person entitled thereto.
