Cap. 164 Art. 66Transfer of detainee.

(1) When a detained person is transferred to another place of detention, the responsibility for the welfare of that person shall devolve on the new custody officer who shall assume responsibility.

(2) The Magistrate carrying out an inquiry into the in in genere relation to the offence in respect of which a person is detained may order at any time that the detained person be transferred to another place of custody.
