Cap. 575 Art. 67Duties and functions of the Director.

(1) The Director shall lead and manage the

Directorate in the delivery of its key objectives and shall be in charge of the day- to-day management and operations of the Directorate. The Director shall be responsible and report to the Accountant General and shall perform such other duties in relation to the Directorate as may, from time to time, be assigned to him by the Permanent Secretary answerable to the Minister.

(2) The representation of the Directorate in legal and judicial proceedings shall lie in the Director.
