S.L. 117.22 Art. 2Interpretation.

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires -

"sale" means any disposal under any onerous or gratuitous title; "retailer" means any person who purchases pigs and/or pork for sale by retail; "wholesaler" means any person who purchases pigs and/or pork and sells them to third parties; "Director" means the Director of Agriculture; "distributor" means any person licensed under these Regulations to purchase pork from the government abattoir on behalf of retailers and to transport pork from the government abattoir to retail shops;

"manufacturer" means any person who processes pigs and/or pork for disposal to third parties;

"producer" means any person who keeps, breeds or fattens pigs for disposal thereof;

"purchase" means any acquisition made under any onerous or gratuitous title.
