Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 2, interest Contracting State and paid to the Government of the other Contracting agency or instrumentality thereof, shall be exempt from tax in the first-Contracting State. For the purposes of this paragraph, the term ''Government'' include the Central Bank of Barbados, the Central Bank of Malta, similar institution as may be agreed upon from time to time by authorities of the Contracting States.
