S.L. 363.76 Art. 2Interpretation. Hire of property.

In these Bye-laws unless the context otherwise requires:

"Council" means the G]asri Local Council; "property" means the building of the Council, the equipment, furnishings and any other objects, movable or immovable, housed inside its premises and which is the property of the Council or which falls under its custody. 3.1 Without prejudice to the provisions of the financial regulations and procedures, the Council shall have the right to hire property to third parties and to other Local Councils, and commercial or non-commercial organisations. 3.2 In the case of hire of any property, the fee due shall be as indicated in the Schedule. 3.3 The hire of property shall be made by means of a contract valid for a period not exceeding one year, which may be renewed for any further period not exceeding one year: Provided that the Council shall have the right to hire the property for any day at the established rate in the Schedule.
