S.L. 386.17 Art. 2Interpretation. Cap. 386.

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires:

''Act'' means the Companies Act;

''EC Regulation'' means Council Regulation (EC) No 2157/2001 of 8 October 2001 on the Statute for a European Company (SE); ''SE'' means a European Public Limited Liability Company (or within the meaning of the EC Regulation Societas Europaea) which, except as provided in these regulations, is to be, or is, registered in Malta.
