(1) It is hereby authorised that due to oversubscription in Lm7,500,000 7.35% Malta Government Stock 2007 (I) an additional issue of Lm17,250,000 7.35% Malta Government Stock 2007 (I) be issued thus bringing the amount of 7.35% Malta Government Stock 2007 (I) created by means of Legal Notice 146

of 1997 to a total amount of Lm24,750,000.

(2) The half yearly contribution to the sinking fund according to paragraph 6 of Legal Notice 146 of 1997 shall be raised from Lm75,000 to Lm247,500.

(3) All applications received by the closing date 18th October, 1997 will be accepted.
