(a) The Department after carrying out the necessary inspections on plants, plant products and other objects, shall issue a Phytosanitary Certificate or a Phytosanitary certificate for re-export for third countries contained in Schedule X and in compliance with the regulations of the country of destination and countries of transit.

(b) The exporter, shall notify the Department of specific regulations on the consignment of the country of destination in due time, so as to allow performance of the inspection. Still the inspection shall be applied for not more than fourteen days and not less than one working day before the date of travel.
