(1) The unavoidable carry-over in non-target feed of active substances contained in authorised coccidiostats and histomonostats shall be considered by the competent authority as undesirable substances in animal feed in terms of the Undesirable Substances in Animal Feed Rules, and their presence shall not, in any manner whatsoever endanger animal health, human health or the environment.

(2) For the purpose of sub-rule (1), maximum levels for these substances in animal feed shall be established in terms of the Schedule in order to prevent harmful and undesirable effects.
