S.L. 552.9 Art. 11Hindering or obstructing authorised officer.

Without prejudice to the Act, or to any other law, any person who by any means whatsoever, hinders or obstructs any officer from the exercise of his powers and functions under these regulations or fails to comply with any reasonable requirement demanded of him by any such person as aforesaid or otherwise to assist him in the carrying out of his duties or furnishes such person with false information or neglects of refuses to give any information required for the purpose aforesaid, shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine (multa) of one hundred and sixteen euro and forty-seven cents (€116.47).
