S.L. 65.19 Art. 16Death or other incapacity.

In the event of the death or physical or legal incapacity of the natural person engaged in the profession of road haulage operator or of the natural person who satisfies the requirements of regulation 10(1)(a) and (c), the Authority may permit the carrying on of the business of a road haulage operator on a temporary basis for a maximum period of one year, with extension for a maximum period of six months. The Authority may, by way of exception and in certain special cases, definitively authorise a person not fulfilling the requirement of professional competence referred to in regulation 13 to operate the undertaking provided that such person possesses at least three years’ practical experience in the day-to-day management of the undertaking.
