On the resignation, the death or the expiry of the term of office of the appointed members, the Chairman shall cause a notice thereof to be sent to the authority concerned. In the case of elected members, the Chairman shall cause an election to be held in accordance with the provisions of article 35(5) of the Ordinance and of the Elections for the Board for the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Regulations.
