For the avoidance of doubt it is hereby declared that for superannuation purposes service rendered by a public officer with respect to whose temporary transfer arrangements are in force is service rendered to the department by which he was employed before the transfer and he shall not forfeit any pension, gratuity or benefit under the Pensions Ordinance and the Widows’ and

Orphans’ Pensions Act.
