(1) The Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disability may designate a public officer falling under the responsibility of the Minister for Justice, Social Affairs, Health, Transport or Home Affairs to act as the authorised officer.

(2) A register of persons who apply to be assessed by the Board shall be kept by the authorised officer; the provisions of the Data

Protection Act shall apply in connection with data kept in the register.
