Cap. 585 Art. 26Establishment of system of control on sources of radiation.

(1) The Secretariat shall establish a system of control over sources and equipment in which such sources are incorporated to ensure that they are safely managed and securely protected during their useful lives and at the end of their useful lives.

(2) Based on internationally recognized guidance, the Commission shall adopt a categorization of radioactive sources based on the potential injury to people and the environment that could result if such sources are not safely managed or securely protected.
